It's All About Balance
Hi there! I’m Julia Vicidomini. I’m a wife and mother of three.

I spent the last 20 years of my career working in the public sector. For most of this time, I have been working in the field of education and for a cause I am passionate about, the best interest of students and supporting our educational leaders. I was honored to learn and grow, working with amazing people, and I had some of the most inspirational and rewarding experiences of my life.

I graduated with a bachelors in Accounting. While I took time away from pursuing my degree to have my children, I never took time off from learning. I enjoy reading and researching. I find it easy to grasp new concepts and often look for webinars and online courses to expand my professional and personal development.

I am highly organized, reliable and have a wide range of professional experience having worked at the executive level with the chief school administrator; wearing many hats. I trained and supervised a group of 60 women over the 6 years in my executive level position. I worked hand-in-hand with administrators in project management functions to assist in organizing and facilitating district goals and strategic plans.

In 2019, I had my third, and last baby, and took a 6-month maternity leave. Just six days after returning to work, the nation was under lockdown due to COVID. I was fortunate enough to have the technical skills to move into a virtual role with ease; although, balancing the demands of being a wife, mom, teacher for my special needs child, full-time student and full-time remote worker were definitely a challenge. I had to create systems for school, home and work, and automate some of my responsibilities in order to juggle it all.

As it came time to return to in-person work, I felt this pulling at my soul, a persistent feeling that wouldn’t go away. That feeling was basically an understanding that I was ready for the next steps in my career. I wanted something that would again allow me to feel passionate about my work, purposeful on how I spent my days, and also allow me to connect with people in a meaningful way.
I started researching and taking online courses to understand the trends in virtual work. I learned about the term virtual assistant a few years back, before getting pregnant with my last baby, and even joked that I wouldn’t return from maternity leave, and instead become a virtual assistant. I didn’t understand the dynamic of the industry then, but I quickly submerged myself in the culture as I set out to start my own business.

I finally enrolled in a course that resonated with me and learned the process of becoming a virtual assistant business owner. I am so grateful to create an organization that not only helps people like you regain much needed time to focus on your goals, but employ virtual assistants who are able to work remotely, with flexible hours, to earn income in their own time as well.

Let's work together to create that balance everyone needs to feel successful.
